 Well, they did it. The folks at the Spiritual Fitness Center went and changed the time for their monthly Psychic fair from the second Saturday of the month to the third Sunday of the month. Judging from the January Fair they did the right thing. The people were obviously happy with the change. Whenever  I would find time to look up from the back to back readings I was doing the room seemed to be full. These fairs have always been fun but they have been nothing like this. so do yourself a favor and check it out on Sunday Feb 18th.hope to see you there.  

The Metroplex Paranormal Investigations is producing a paranormal conference this September in Dallas. They have given me the honor of asking me to be their Emcee at the event.I was a speaker at there conference in Jefferson Texas and it was very cool. Just like the one at Jefferson talks will be given by some of the most knowledgeable people in the field of paranormal investigation.There will be ghost tours and door prizes and a great time in general.      It doesn't take a psychic to see that times are really changing. When I started doing readings it was common to get death threats and for someone to come up and swear they were going to pray for my lost soul. Now, you can't go to a movie or watch TV with out seeing a show that is wrapped around a metaphysical concept.

    The reason is clear. In the past we were told we could count on the honesty and integrity of people because of their profession. I remember being told in school you can always trust police, priests and ministers.That teachers were in their profession to help children.Virutally everything we have been told we can count on has proven to be suspect. Politician and police taking bribes,pedophile priests and corrupt ministers teachers having sex with their students and even parents killing there own kids.

    Since our safe environment has been breached it has left people with a void and a feeling that maybe what was wrong was right after all. So with this in mind the search for the real truth is on.They go to book stores listen to movies and lectures looking for something they can believe in.

     They research metaphysical ideals hoping to find what they need to make sense of their life again. The problem is that the metaphysical field can be just a treacherous as the main stream. There are incredible practitioners that have the best interest of their client at heart. I have seen amazing abilities and kindnesses bestowed on people. Unfortunately I have also seen so called healers perform modalities that have absolutely no core concept and are mostly rooted in superstition. They get caught up in their own ego and greed and stop at nothing to keep someone coming back. I have seen pseudo readers using their limited abilities and scare tactics (someone is stealing your soul yada yada) to make someone afraid to even question the validity of what is being said. I have personally met several people that have lost thousand of dollars to these predators and were left with a broken spirit and disdain for the metaphysical field as a whole.

     Our role as practitioners is not only to impart our modalities on the masses but to also be active in maintaining its integrity. How do we do that you ask. For one thing we need to teach guidelines to consumers.For example if a practitioner asks for an object especially money,jewels or anything of value and claims they cant give it back or it removes the spell keep the object and get away from that person.After leaving that person they should be sure to tell friends and acquaintances of your experience. Let them know there is nothing these people can do to them. There are countless ways these people use to bilk people out of their money and property.The worse part is that besides their money they lose the confidence in the legitimate modalities too.

    As practitioners we have a spiritual and human obligation to keep this field ethical and free of con artists and predators.    I pledge to always do my part to maintain the integrity of my profession. I hope you will too.

Hello Mrs. Smith, how are you today

I am sorry to hear your life long love

 has recently passed away.

I know you loved him dearly

I know he loved you too.

You have trouble thinking clearly

You are left wondering what to do

You feel him close to you at night.

But his absence gives you pain.

You see his form just out of sight

And you think you'll go insane

I settle back into my chair deep breathing

 is my way

Of tuning into Mr. Smith maybe 

There's something he needs to say.

I see a man Mrs. Smith  tall, lean and a little gray

 he has a crooked smile ms Smith

but he is missing his right leg.

He lost his leg the day he died she said

as her voice began to fade

Then tears trickled down her grief worn face

"Oh my god that must be Wade".

Mr. Smith says he loves you,

he is sorry he had to leave.

He has stayed with you after he had passed

to help you while you grieve.

His vibration started to envelop me there

 was a lot more he had to say.

So I settled back into my chair and

let him have his way.

Tell little Wade I love him and

 that his daddy is ok.

Tell him I'll see him in his dreams

 and in his heart I'll always stay.

Tell him that I will be there

If  he needs me anytime.

I'll miss holding him when

he gets scared.

But I will hold him in his mind.

You both made my life worth living

Those memories I will keep.

Like the night you kissed my shoulder

 when you thought I was asleep.

I'll miss holding you against me and

the sweet smell of your dark hair.

Your soft warm body felt so good to me

I thanked god that you were there.

Don't be afraid to love again

It's no disrespect to me.

No matter what you do my love

our love will always be.

I wish for you the best of life

That has always been my way.

When you love another, I

 will be happy too that day.

Tina, please know I love you

 I haven't gone away.

Your are in my heart and soul my love

We will be together again one day.

I felt a shutter consume me as

Mr. Smith went on his way.

Mrs. Smith just sat and stared at me

Not knowing what to say.

Through tear filled eyes she forced a smile

 She said "I have just one thing to say"

The things Wade said

 you couldn't have known

 was what I needed to hear today.

I watch Mrs. Smith as she left the room

 lighter then when she came.

Full of hopes for a bright tomorrow

as her life gets rearranged.

I felt sadness for Mrs. Smith

But I said all I could say.

So with a cleansing breath released it

 I had four more to go that day.
