Here we are again another month has come and gone. This is a good time to think about what we have accomplished and who's life we have touched in a positive way. Because what is the point of being here. Unless we offer ourselfs to be a part of positive change among our families, community, the world and even the Universe. Try to touch at least one person or living thing in a positive way. If you do I can guarantee your life will be transformed to a worth while fullfilling experience instead of a struggle full of self doubt and negative expression.
I hope as you read the following articles they will touch you in some way.If they make you Laugh, Cry, fill you with anger or inspiration I have done what I set out to do.

The Spiritual Fitness center is having their monthly Psychic Fair the third Sunday every month. This month (March) it will be one the 17th. There was a great crowd last month and I am sure this month will be even better. There are psychics of all personalities and modalities, healers and more vendors all the time. You can check out Pat Hoods booth with its stones, sage, saging feathers and more. Maybe you would like to try a destiny card reading by Ginger Tidrow aura photos, massage, reiki and more.. Of course I will also be doing readings there so come see what's up at what I feel is the friendliest most spiritually inspired fair in Texas.
I almost forgot, but dont you forget that The Spiritual Fitness Center has the widest range of classes and seminars of any center in D/FW 7 days a week. They even have a cinema night when they show some of the most inspirational movies available movies like "The Secret"(they showed it before Oprah did)"One" and many others.

As most of you know I have an interactive site Robert Caruso Interactive that was accessible through my regular site. Well I have decided to make it a free standing site called "The Seeker".This site is dedicated to metaphysical ideals and practices. A place to post essays and honest opinions,stories poems and hopefully examples of these ideals being put into practice.It is a place of reference and open mindedness where someone can speak of their beliefs and not be judged or put down. The URL "the Seeker was not available so the URL had to be www.RobertCarusosTheSeeker.com I know it is long but thats the way it had to go.
But the main reason I set it up is to have a place where we can talk about how to put these ideals into play in real life instead of hiding behind the doors of spiritual centers, book stores and expos.
It is time we quit just learning about these things and put them into practice not just internally (although that is the most important) but in all areas of life. Our global society has to be changed in all areas but this won't happen unless we all live these ideals we hear, read and discuss behind clothes doors. In the words of the great nonviolent leader of India Mahatma Gandhi:
I cannot teach you violence, as I do not myself believe in it. I can only teach you not to bow your heads before any one even at the cost of your life.

Most of us see the metaphysical ideals as a natural and powerful alternative (the only alternative) to the status quo. We talk of the hypocrisy of our global society and its organized religions. But how many of us see the hypocrisy among our own metaphysical ranks. How many times have we seen the base ideals of metaphysical beliefs contorted to justify things we know are deceptive and/or destructive? Or rampant egos being used to belittle and claim status in a field where staus shouldn't exist. Wouldn't it be great if we used these ideals to promote honesty, integrity and acceptance? I am not saying to be judgmental because we all have much to learn I am saying be mindful of these acts and help ourselves as a whole to over come them.

Anyway that is what the site is about.
I believe "The Seeker"will be a positive informative site. It is totally free to everyone. I will be working it myself but because I have very little time to dedicate to it. I am looking for one or more moderators on a volunteer basis.
The task is simply to help me keep the site fresh and free from inflammatory and mean spirited content. It is will always be ok to disagree but not ok to judge and ridicule.

| WOULDN'T IT BE NICE? |

I am not sure if this is true or not. But i saw it on "MY SPACE" and thought how nice it would be if everyone acted with this kind of compassion. R.C
"Some of you may know that our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month (8/23). The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. She dictated and I wrote:
"Dear God, Will you please take special care of our dog, Abbey? She died yesterday and is heaven. We miss her very much. We are happy that you let us have her as our dog even though she got sick.
I hope that you will play with her. She liked to play with balls and swim before she got sick. I am sending some pictures of her so that when you see her in heaven you will know she is our special dog. But I really do miss her.

We put that in an envelope with 2 pictures of Abbey, and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Mer stuck some stamps on the front (because, as she said, it may take lots of stamps to get a letter all the way to heaven) and that afternoon I let her drop it into the letterbox at the post office.
For a few days, she would ask if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had. Yesterday, for Labor Day, we took the kids to Austin to a natural history museum. When we got back, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch. Curious, I went to look at it. It had a gold star card on the front and said "To: Mer" in an unfamiliar hand.
Meredith took it in and opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers, 'When a Pet Dies'. Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God, in its opened envelope (which was marked Return to Sender: Insufficient address). On the opposite page, one of the pictures of Abbey was taped under the words "For Meredith." We turned to the back cover, and there was the other picture of Abbey,
and this handwritten note on pink paper:
"Dear Mer,
I know that you will be happy to know that Abbey arrived safely and soundly in Heaven! Having the pictures you sent to me was such a big help. I recognized Abbey right away.
You know, Meredith, she isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me--just like she stays in your heart--young and running and playing. Abbey loved being your dog, you know. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets!-- so I can't keep your beautiful letter. I am sending it to you with the pictures so that you will have this book to keep and remember Abbey.
One of my angels is taking care of this for me. I hope the little book helps. Thank you for the beautiful letter. Thank your mother for sending it. What a wonderful mother you have! I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven and wherever there is love.

As a parent and a pet lover, this is one of the kindest things that I've ever experienced. I have no way to know who sent it, but there is some very kind soul working in the dead letter office.I Just wanted to share this

Not too long ago I was talking to a man in the Hallway at the spiritual Fitness Center. He asked me a question about my class because he had heard that people were getting a lot out of it, leaving a little fatigued when it was over. I explained my method of teaching and a technique I taught to the participants of the class. He then smiled at me and said "I guess that is why people say even though you are arrogant and a jerk but you know your stuff"(<I cleaned that up for you)
My reaction was a smile as I said "That must be why" but I have to admit I was a little taken a back.
I thought about it for a couple of days and this is what I came up with.
I am in an occupation where every time someone sits down in front of me my ability is being evaluated. It is my responsibility to tell them what will be happening to them in their lives. I have to tell them with out allowing their feelings about me or what I am saying to taint the reading. They laugh, they cry, they get angry and sometimes hate what I tell them bad enough to vent their anger at me. I can not let that shake me up. If I see it, I say it; I can not, will not compromise the integrity of my craft.
"Pain or pleasure no one has the right to interfere with someones spiritual path."
I am constantly involved in life altering situations (missing persons and homicides, infidelity are just a few) where questionable accuracy and lack of integrity would be disastrous.
Because of this I must have unshakeable confidence. Which I am sure can be interpreted as "arrogant". I must be brutally honest which could be seen as being a "jerk" and I must have an unshakeable professional integrity which all together has allowed me the opportunity to help several thousand people in the course of my career.
So that being said I want to tell the man in the hall (you know who you are)

| LATE NIGHT VISITORS. |

As many of you know I maintain an office at the Spiritual Fitness Center.As time has passed the center has become busier all the time with classes seminars people teaching this and demonstrating that.
and at any given time there may be 30 or more people there.
What most people don't know is that there is a night shift...
I found out about them a few months ago.You see normally I do most of my computer work, correspondence and creative writing between the hours of 10 pm until allot of the time 4 am the next morning.
I do this because it is easier for me to concentrate when the phone isn't ringing or someone isn't coming in for a reading.
I night I was there about 2 am in the morning when I heard foot steps going past my door.
Thinking I was the only one in the building I opened the door to check....No one there..
I walked down the hall to see if someone was in the kitchen or sanctuary when I felt something brush past me.
Now I have been making my living for many years in the metaphysical/paranormal
field so things like this don't tend to shake me up much.But I was becoming very sure that my thought of being alone here at night are over.
Since then I have seen apparitions, the music raise and lower in volume by itself, they have even walked up and rattled my door knob as if to see if it was locked.
Since my realization of this phenomenon I have heard allot of people say that they have seen and experienced this themselves during the day.
One person reported that they were sitting in a room waiting on a class
She started to carry on a conversation with a woman that was sitting in the room also but when she turned away for a fraction of a second the woman was gone. She was a little freaked so when she was describing the woman it was the exact description of a who's memorial was being held that week end.
So know you can be sure that when someone calls the Spiritual Fitness center a spiritual center they are right-
