Well, she now has a new site that is geared toward the artist and poets that aren't able to get to a gallery or have too few pieces to get a showing.jackie has found a way for all of us to tap into the talents that we may never have seen any other way
This website offers Texas Artists a venue to show and sell their art without the normal requirements of 25 pieces or more for art or 2000 + photos for photography. Most artists do not live in an area that has available art galleries so their masterpieces are sitting on someone's living room wall and admired by few. This is a family website with a G rating. Also selected artists are in the ambassador project of The Traveling Texans for tours around the world to break down the walls of belief that separate us. where someone can speak of their beliefs and not be judged or put down.

I know it is long but that's the way it had to go.
Check out the Forum Section the reason I set it up is to have a place
where we can talk about how to put these ideals into
play in real life instead of hiding behind the doors of
spiritual centers, book stores and expos.
It is time we quit just learning about these things and put
them into practice not just internally (although that is
the most important) but in all areas of life.
Our global society has to be changed in all areas but this
won't happen unless we all live these ideals we hear,
read and discuss behind closed doors.
In the words of the great nonviolent leader of India
Mahatma Gandhi:
I cannot teach you violence,
as I do not myself believe in it.
I can only teach you not to bow your heads
before any one even at the cost of your life.
Most of us see the metaphysical ideals
as a natural and powerful alternative (the only alternative)
to the status quo. We talk of the hypocrisy of our global
society and its organized religions. But how many of us
see the hypocrisy among our own metaphysical ranks.
How many times have we seen the base ideals
of metaphysical beliefs contorted to justify things
we know are deceptive and/or destructive? Or rampant
egos being used to belittle and claim status in a field
where status shouldn't exist. Wouldn't it be great if we used
these ideals to promote honesty integrity and acceptance?
I am not saying to be judgmental because
we all have much to learn. I am saying be mindful
of these acts and help ourselves as a whole to overcome them.

| Learning is Secondary in area Schools |
| I have a friend who told me of something that she had to go through with her 15 year old daughter.
It seems that her daughter has had a rough year concerning her health.
She severely broke her elbow bad enough to require pins to be inserted. This had her at the doctors office several times through the year. Then she had several trips to the orthodontists for braces and then had to go for her wisdom teeth.
Now i am sure you are thinking that these are normal childhood issues( I think with exception of the elbow thing)and you would be right. But we also have to ad that the child and her mother was abandoned by the child's father leaving the mother to do it on her own. This along with the fact that she had a full time job that took her all over D/FW and beyond pretty much illustrates the hectic situation with in this family.
Even though they had these challenges this child managed to keep her grades up in the a's and b's.
This week she was told that she was going to fail the 9th grade.Even though 80% of the absences were doctor verified with the rest explained in notes from her mother. They were still counted against her, even though she kept her grades up proving she had learned the work assigned.
What is priority in our schools today? Apparently it has nothing to do with achievement. It has obviously gotten to the point that conformity and attendance is more important then learning the material.
If it wasn't for the tenacity of this single mother that child would have a failed grade level on her record. This would have occurred for no other reason then the mindless, heartless,drone like policies of our pathetic educational system.
Our kids are being taught cold blooded adherence to rules at the cost of even their health is the way they should live .
They are never taught compassion for situations.
They aren't taught to deal with things case by case rather then a drone like blanket "solution" to everything.
They are robots in training. They are taught if you smile when you are told, think, act ,and look the way you are told then you will work out fine.
Thank god for the quirky,funny and strange kids with their shockingly weird way of dressing and talking. They are our societies only defense against the mindless, mediocere, uncreative drone like creatures created by the very institution that is suppose to help them grow into balanced,creative and hopefully Human INDIVIDUALS.

| It has come to my attention that there is a woman that is editing my newsletter then calling a mutual friend and complaining about my lack of grammar and respect for the conventional structure of creative writing.
About a year or so ago this woman had offered to work with me on my writing endeavors(Book,News Letter, Screen play etc.etc.)
Apparently, my decision not to take advantage of her offer to save me from the grammerless depths of writing hell, that ultimately resulted in her contracting an acute case of underwear dishevelment. (she got her panties in a wad)
Although she was trying her best to ridicule my writing talents I hold no ill will.
I will not mention her name in this article for two reasons.
1. I honestly don't want to embarrass her. Although child like in her behavior she still has her right to her opinion.
2.Even though she will know after reading (and I presume editing) this news letter, that I am privy to her actions.
By my not mentioning her name she will be able to continue her practiced smile and predictable giggle with an acceptable degree of believability (to everyone else)next time we meet.
I would like to tell her one thing while I am taking the time to write this.
I write what I want to write, the way I want to write it .
My style if writing is my own. It is not patterned after or influenced by anyone alive or dead.
The people that have signed up for this newsletter number thousand + now, sign up usually because they read something I had written.
The people that read this newsletter are typically artistic,open minded,highly intelligent and thoughtful people.
They are tired of the cookie cutter society we live in and are refreshed when someone speaks out with originality and without fear of ridicule.
I love the feedback they send and the comments they make when we meet.
If they enjoy the I things I write, it is my honor and pleasure to do it.
